Hydrogen Purification

Hydrogen produced by the ECR/SOLAR needs additional purification. Therefore Palladium–Copper (Pd-Cu) membrane was used based on the concept of Hydrogen dissociation through Pd-Cu membrane surface, then diffusing through the membrane as H atoms, and recombining on the permeate side. Gas chromatography was utilized to show the purity of Hydrogen in various streams ( i.e. Feed, Retentate and Permeate).
