About Us
A number of environmentally friendly technological solutions are under development globally to cater for future energy demands for both transport and stationary applications. The need to find new energy solutions is obviously driven by the concern over increasing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
Therefore a group from various scientific and engineering disciplines was established at the Royal Scientific Society in the year 2006 under the title “Hydrogen Group” to enter a new era of research activities. Several donors sponsored the group during the elpsed years: JICA, SRTDI,RSS, USAID, SRSF/MOHE and SRTDII.
The hydrogen group was granted a patent for the invention titled: Advanced Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell.
The hydrogen group received the Emirates Energy Golden Award-2015
